‘Running’ is the brand new single for the New Zealand boys, and the first to be lifted from their second and eagerly awaited album, Real Life. It offers a clearer vision of just what this young band are heading towards. It positively punches you in the mouth with its determination and confidence.

Recorded with producer-to-the-stars John Alagia (John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz) in Massachussets and at the Village in LA, the album was the result of a three month snowed in session within the walls of a studio graced throughout time by acts as distinctive as The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. It was mixed by Grammy-award winning engineer-to-the-stars Tom Lord-Alge (Green Day) in Miami. It is A&Rd by the stars-behind-the-stars Seymour Stein and Michael Goldstone as the beginnings of their worldwide deal through Sire Records.

Split Enz have personally requested their presence on their reunion tour in June. Their last record gave birth to a song (It’s Too Late) that was the seventh most played song on Australian radio last year. These guys practically have ‘radio hit’ tattooed on their foreheads.
