Little Bark / Sophie Burbery - Hope Is Rubbery

Little Bark / Sophie Burbery - Hope Is Rubbery

Wellington's Sophie Burbery, like many artists, well, like most people, really, has more than one feather in her bow.

With this release, though, she's decided to both separate and combine two distinct musical aspects. Perhaps, an album of two sides, if pressed on vinyl, I'd imagine an A Side a Double A Side.

Under her own name, one of the CDs in this gorgeously packaged double CD release (one needs to acknowledge Wellington based artist Mica Still for the cover design - it's fantastic) is a more organic collection of songs with subject matter seemingly more personal; accompanied by the more, light-hearted electro-pop persona (we all have a light-hearted pop-person don't we? Fun game - what would your light-hearted electro-pop persona name be?)

Great album/s - something for everyone / both sides of your personality.
