Midnight Youth Album Release Party - 28th April 2009

Midnight Youth turned it on for fill to capacity crowd at The Studio, K-Rd Auckland for their album release party.  With the raw energy you would expect from a young band, Midnight Youth let rip with a complete set from their new album The Brave Don't Run which hit the stores on Monday.

Clear crowd pleasers were the recent chart hits All On Our Own and The Letter.  Calvary, Dead Flowers and Learning to Fall featured strongly with highlights including an unreleased single - an obvious band favorite which showed in its charged execution and an extremely decent Led Zeppelin cover that had the band hitting their stride.

Talented lead singer Jeremy Redmore's performance shone during his theatrical moments and guitarist Simon Oscroft expressed a natural exuberance which was appreciated and to be expected when having your first album released.   Keyboard/guitarist Nick Campbell demonstrated some fantastic musical multitasking with bassist Matt Warman and drummer Aidan Bartlett completing the band in its stellar lineup of sharp broad appeal songs.  Clearly this is just the beginning for this delivering band.
