Dei Hamo - First Edition
It's great to see the debut album, First Edition, from Dei Hamo aka Sane Sagala released with qualities of a world class MC.
First Edition gives you the impression that Dei Hamo is the cheeky one in the back of the class bringing out his rhyme book and entertaining all with funny mo'fo lyrics.
Click your fingers, game on.
A full 17 tracks await you, and at all moments humour and softness breathes, its not your normal run of the mill gansta gun hip hop, however he does base it on the American attitude.
The old cliché, of putting in the hard yards is evident here, and it surely is a great release and one that deserves praise.
Guest artists include Tim Finn and Boh Runga, putting their worth in tracks "Cry Again" and "Home Again' respectively.
The album seems to flow with ease with high production right across the board and a standout track being the good time party track We Gon Ride
A fine example of Hip Hop from the South Pacific. Cant wait to see what Dei Hamo comes up with next, but first you can cherish his First Edition.
