Tutuki
Te Vaka, the Polynesian musicians and dancers led by songwriter, Ope Foa'i, release their fourth album at the end of May, keeping alive the traditions of storytelling and the language of Tokelau. 'Tutuki' brings together another accessible and infectious collection of Pacific-inspired songs, produced by Foa'i.
The album features "Tamahana" , the title track from the movie "The legend of Johnny lingo".... which is accompanied by a stunning video.
Annie Crummer and Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann) feature on a track aimed at raising Aids awareness.
