The Wellington six piece release their second album Spirit Lights two years after their debut Come Howling.
Spirit Lights is a more ethereal, spacious version of their debut, combining a wider range of instrumentation and ideas. A new rhythm section has given the band a new life and taken the songs in new directions.
Spirit Lights is an album of lightly strummed, sometimes orchestral and sometimes anthemic folk rock tunes paired with pained melodies and lifting multi-part airy vocal harmonies.
