Self produced by the band and mixed by Dave Sardy (Helmet, Slayer, RHCP, Oasis, NIN) and Tom Larkin, IGNITE harkens back to many of the original raw elements of Shihad. The rumbling and slow spiraling heavy groove unfolding and underpinning Jon Toogood's beguiling vocal. Are they saying this is their greatest album yet? Not so much as it's another great album from an artist that has continued to deliver the goods, year after sweat soaked year...
