World Champions
In competition against the world's best bands, the National Band Of New Zealand has won the World Brass Band Championship at Kerkrade twice, the International Festival Contest at Edinburgh twice and the British Open Championship at Belle Vue, Manchester.
Much of the credit for the band's high musical standard is due to the inspired leadership of its mucial directors.
