  • Loving DD's new EP. Can't stop bumpin' Ever Ever and love P-Money's Kanye-esque production. This is the first kiwi hip hop music that I have been genuinely excited about since The Crusader dropped. I love the fact that DD is sticking true to flowing in a NZ accent as a lot of our hip hop artists do not. I know that it's hard not to, as we all grew up listening to Pac, Biggie, Dre and Snooop and adopt their accents when we sing their songs. However, our artists should do their very best to use our kiwi accent when they make theirs. It's the only obstacle in the way of NZ hip hop claiming true authenticity. I am not a big fan of UK hip hop or "Grime", but their idiom and accents are true to where the come from. Keep repping for NZ David Dallas. You are the man and I will have great pleasure in sharing your talents with people over this way who might not otherwise hear your music. Respect.
