Sound Tracks is Dadson's first solo cd release and a project that maps several trajectories; from an early Dadson graphic score for an improvisation by Scratch Orchestra (PLAY, 1970), to recent solo improvisations with a range of his invented instruments; the longstring Zitherum (3 metre long zither and drum combination), the gloopdrum (a single string and drum-membrane resonator), the nundrum (a modified bass-drum resonator with multiple threaded rods), song/stones (a collection of singing stones), and voice (extended/overtone vocals and a looping pedal).
