Standing In Silence

Rhian Sheehan's first full length album release in four years, Standing In Silence deviates from electronica by taking a more organic, surreal soundscape direction as a composer.
The album was inspired by the cover image which Rhian shot while travelling in India where he began to question the place of an individual in a rapidly changing mass society.
An experimental effort, Rhian Sheehan recorded sounds of human interaction from India, Spain, China and Tokyo which feature on Standing In Silence, together with wine glasses, bowed piano strings and melodies formed on his daughters music box...
