God Left Town EP
Recorded at the band's own Double Happy Studios, the songs took shape slowly after long Sunday dinners and short drives to Auckland's west coast beaches. Add the birth of a beautiful baby girl for singer Jimmy Calico to the mix and a wonderful time of family and creativity was the incubator from which these songs were hatched.

Just bought the "God Left Town" EP today from Galaxy Records in Christchurch, and all I can say is-Andrew Thorne is a musical genius, great guitar pop, I like his previous band Splitter as well. Does anyone know how to get hold of his really old 1990s(I think) recordings under the band name Thorn, can't find them anywhere on the net. As an aside, great to see Jan Hellriegel's old band Cassandra's Ears have released their recordings-I'm too young to remember them, I was in my early teens when they came out, and thought indie rock was under-produced garbage at the time, thankfully my music tastes have broadened considerably with age!!!
