"With an eclectic range of influences, it's hard to imagine what their sound might be. Well imagine away, because it's also hard to describe. With their debut EP Checkmate they move through run of the mill sounding rock, intense epic rock and cheeky inacolada tinged pop rock. For a five track EP, they really seem to have shown their range. Mr Sad Robot has melodies that would sit comfortably on Weezer's Pinkerton, while Black Circus is a dark Muse-esque waltz, and Toaster froths frantically with a surf rock rhythm section...
