These Creatures (aka Secret Era) is a recently released EP from Auckland alt-rock band Amperzahn.
The songs are dark and melodic with well balanced dynamic contrast and strong chorus hooks. The combination of female vocals, piano, and distorted guitars puts some listeners in mind of Evanessence, however Amperzahn definitly have their own unique flavour.
