Special Suprise
Born in Wroclaw, Poland, 26th February 1979, Lukasz Pawel Buda aka Luke Buda, came to New Zealand in 1987 ~ a year he remembers because it's when the All Blacks last won the Rugby World Cup! In that time, Luke Buda has cemented his place in the NZ indie scene, thanks to his singer/songwriter role in renowned Wellington outfit, The Phoenix Foundation.
'Special Surprise' is actually Luke Buda's second solo outing ~ his first was a 2002 mini-album called 'The C-Sides' described by Grant Smithies in the Sunday Star Times as "distressingly addictive", awarding it 4/5 stars...
