Contimental Drift
Initially given to Capitalrecordings as a demo in August 2002, a mere six weeks after the release of first album, Diversity, Contimental Drift was envisioned by Miles as a more varied piece than Diversecity.
The underlying theme was of skipping through a crackly old radio, hence the use of interludes and the broad range of musical styles and elements, ranging from instrumental hip-hop to drum&bass to jazzy broken beats to soulful electronic folk to chunky house beats and all musical destinations beyond...
