Applications For SXSW Close On 7 November
Apply to make the 27th annual SXSW Music Festival one of the best yet! Showcasing at SXSW means performing in one of Austin, TX's famous live music venues, for almost 19,000 industry representatives, including over 3,000 media members and thousands of fans in attendance. Apply for the opportunity to play with acts from all over world. Of the 2,200 plus showcasing artists in 2012, nearly 550 international acts performed, representing 49 countries. The organisers hope to represent even more nations abroad during SXSW 2013.
SXSW hosts acts in every stage of their development, including music legends such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Geldof, Smokey Robinson, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and Devo. Application Fees and Deadlines
The fee for applications submitted now is $40. All applications must be submitted no later than the final deadline of November 7, 2012.
There is not a separate international and domestic deadline, however all international acts are encouraged to submit early to allow extra time for visa applications and travel arrangements.
