Sami Sisters and Anika Moa to Play at HSFC Arts & Film Festival

On October 29, 2012 people can purchase tickets for the HSFC Art & Film Festival 2013. Occurring January 14-20, 2013, the HSFC Art & Film Festival will showcase New Zealand artists of all kinds in order to reach their goal of raising $30000 to start a fund for underprivileged schools and students to attend camp.

Live entertainment will be ongoing for January 19 and 20 including New Zealand's own Anika Moa and The Sami Sisters. Opening acts for these two well-known New Zealand artists are Pania Hart (Christchurch) and Test of Time (Hanmer Springs).

The HSFC Art & Film Festival will also feature many artists such as Tony Bridge (photographer), Richard Grahame (painter/potter) and Jane van Keulan from Stash Palace (stitching). With Art Stalls, Workshops, Art Auction, Food, a Kids Zone and so much more - there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Throughout the week an Open-Air Cinema will feature (Monday - Saturday evenings), playing New Zealand films such as King Kong, World's Fastest Indian and Eagle vs. Shark. All tickets can be purchased through Event Finder online from October 29 onwards. A full schedule of events can be found on the official website at http://www.hsfcfestival.com.

Join the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp on January 14-20, 2013 in order to celebrate New Zealand's artists and help raise $30000. Thanks to the support of the event's many sponsors, all proceeds from the HSFC Art & Film Festival 2013 will go towards supporting the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp's dream of enabling every New Zealand student to attend school camp.
