Dave Dobbyn to Play Australia
It has been 20 years since Dave Dobbyn last toured in Australia. Now he is bringing his acclaimed 'Greatest Hits' show and his five-piece band to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on November 14, 15 and 16.
Dobbyn has written the soundtrack to kiwi lives, with a string of NZ hits including 'Loyal', 'Beside You', 'Be Mine Tonight', 'Language', 'Bliss', 'Outlook for Thursday', 'Whaling', 'Kingdom Come', 'It Dawned On Me', 'Guilty', 'Devil You Know', 'Slice of Heaven', 'Magic What She Do', 'Oughta Be in Love' , 'Welcome Home'.... and so the list goes on.
He recently celebrated a 30-year milestone in a career that has seen him amass multi-platinum sales across 7 studio albums and live projects. 'Loyal', his most celebrated song, has been polled as NZ's greatest song ever. He would go on to win more awards for songwriting than any other New Zealander including being honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by APRA.
