It's well worth the $10 cover charge to see some of NZ's up & coming new music artists. Come along & check out the LIVE action!
42 Live events will take place over the next 3 months at NZ's best live music venues. 2012 venues are: Juice Bar & The Kings Arms in Auckland, Outback Inn in Hamilton, Brewers Bar in Mt. Maunganui, Bogeda in Wellington and The Venue Music Bar in Christchurch.
Each venue hosts a series of heats, semi-finals and regional finals. Feeder heats may also be added at additional venues in other regional locations depending on entry numbers in other regions. Throughout the event, judging and voting determines each region's champions; who then represent their region at the 2 night National Finals in Auckland on 31st August (Kings Arms) and 1st September (Juice Bar)

It's not too late to enter, there are still some slots available; bands are advised to register (at battleofthebands.co.nz) ASAP to ensure a placement.
