The Whiskey Live Series Second Announcement
With the annual New Zealand Music Month festivities well underway, The Whiskey bar in Ponsonby, Auckland, is proud to present the line-up for week three of the five week Whiskey Live series which boasts a massive 99 kiwi acts over 25 nights in May.
The second announcement line up (15-22 May) is an impressive array of talented Kiwi musicians, each with a set designed specifically for The Whiskey's intimate set up.
The line up includes: Aaron Tokona (AHoriBuzz & Cairo Knife Fight), Boy Crush, Cool Rainbows, Cut Off Your Hands, Hollie Smith, Iva Lamkum, Jennifer Zea, Nairobi Trio, Nathan Haines, Nick D & Dick Johnson, Peter Urlich Sextet, Seth Haapu & Tiki Taane with DJs Arash, Bobby Brazuka, Jason Eli, Manuel Bundy, Uncle Barnie & Phoebe Falconer set to close each night after the headline act.
The Whiskey bar owner, Andrew Bruce is thrilled with the response to the series to date and has been working hard behind the scenes to finalize the final two weeks.
"The response to the first ten nights has been amazing. This next release will no doubt continue the momentum, and I can't wait to announce the remaining acts we have in store," says Bruce.
