Music In Parks 2012
Auckland Council is proud to present another entertainment packed summer with its free Music in Parks 2012 series.
Music in Parks will be hosting top kiwi musical talent throughout January in some of our most stunning parks and reserves from Great Barrier Island to Waiuku, including:
- Summer Sounds 2012, delivering four featured concerts with headline acts Tim Finn, The Black Seeds, Ladi6 and Midge Marsden.
- Jazz at the Rotunda, which showcases the country's finest line-up of jazz and blues musicians with a finale concert by international jazz sensation Nathan Haines.
The Culture Garden then presents an exceptional programme of music from beyond the mainstream realms, prepare for the unexpected.
Bring a blanket and stake your spot on the grass. Refreshments will be available for sale at most venues.
