Big Day Out 2012 First Announcement
The esteemed organisers behind the Big Day Out are revealing 2012's line-up in a special way this year, partially in recognition of the fact that the upcoming festival will mark the BDO's 20th anniversary.
They made the first line-up announcement late last night, indicating locals Gin Wigmore, David Dallas, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Cut Off Your Hands, Ghost Wave, Beastwars and MayaVanya will all be in attendance.
International headliners Soundgarden, Kanye West and Kasabian will also be joining the fray. Best Coast, Girl Talk, Foster The People, Cage The Elephant, Odd Future, Battles, Mariachi El Bronx, Röyksopp, The Living End and My Chemical Romance are also on the bill.
