with MC's Tiki, P Digsss (Shapeshifter), KP (Sunshine Sound System), Rugged Techniques and JDubs at the Coroglen Tavern...

This is the 4th year in a row we have produced this type of show at the Coroglen on this date and every year is bigger and better with artist's always asking to come and play this show. With the show gaining amazing reviews from all the crowds that attend every year, this is one not to be missed and definitely to be stamped in the calendar of any NZ D&B or Dubstep enthusiasts, or any one keen on a special show that will be talked about for a long time!

Concord Dawn:
Concord Dawn were nominated for "Best Tech DJ", "Best International Act" and "Best Producer" at the 2009 UK Drum and Bass Awards. Chaos by Design achieved Gold sales status in New Zealand. Concord Dawn have two of the top 20 selling records of all time at www.chemical-records.co.uk, "Don't Tell Me" and "Morning Light", both released on Timeless Records. Concord Dawns live sets are well regarded as encompassing the full spectrum of drum and bass music, and this has seen constant tours and performances in Europe, Russia, Australasia, Asia and North America since the turn of the century. Playing tracks off the new album "The Enemy Within" Matty C is pumped for this show.

The Upbeats: Known collectively as The Upbeats, Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones have been writing epic genre-redefining drum and bass together for eleven years. Full-time DJs and producers since early 2004, the duo perform on a regular basis across the globe, run their own recording imprint Non Vogue and have released countless underground hit records on some of the most respected drum and bass labels on the planet. Three classic full-length albums into their career, at the point where most artists begin to stutter - The Upbeats only continue to go from strength to strength, constantly changing the game in 2010 and beyond.

Bulletproof: For over a decade, the name "Bulletproof" has stood for nothing less than forward thinking future bass music. In the early 90's, his relentless passion and devotion to Drum & Bass established Jay as one of the nations pioneering D&B DJ's and promoters. His entrance into production in 99" alongside former production partner Josh, lead to Bulletproof becoming Australasia's first international Drum & Bass export, signing their tracks to one of the leading labels of the time, and helped spawn the rise of the local future bass music production scene, being cited by names like Concord Dawn, The Upbeats, State Of Mind as THE pioneer of NZ D&B production. Jay has just recently won "Best electronic album" at the NZ Music Awards and has played every one of the 4 Anniversary weekend shows and brings the party and the noise.

Optimus Gryme: Optimus Gryme is referred to by many as the pioneer for New Zealand Dubstep after releasing Aotearoa's first ever Dubstep 12inch, first Dubstep solo EP and NZ's first ever Dubstep album, all on his own label Optimus Gryme Recordings.

2009 was a huge year for Gryme. As well as selling out shows all over the country he also toured Oz last year with one of New Zealand's leading musicians Tiki Taane. With constant releases on his own label and collaborations with some of the biggest producers in the world, Optimus Gryme is definitely a name that you'll be seeing a lot of in the near future.

There's camping available, a massive sound and lighting rig and all the artists are particularly stoked about this gig... it's going to be a ripper.
