Batucada Sound Machine are proud to announce the arrival of their new single He Said She Said.

Featuring their unmistakable percussive rhythm section and horn lines along with the unique vocals of Richie Setford - this track has a distinct quirky, yet accessible edge to it, while retaining the BSM signature sound.

Auckland-based BSM have been playing the local and international festival scene for more than four years - and have developed a legion of fans throughout Australasia based on the strength of their live shows - and their massive mix of percussive beats, funk and contemporary hip-hop. Their last album 'Rhythm & Rhyme' received rave reviews and the three singles (and videos) were all picked up for airplay by local b.Net radio and music TV.

He Said She Said was recorded at Auckland's Digicake Studios with Angus McNaughton on mixing and mastering duties.

The band has recorded two versions of the single - the first featuring Richie Setford on vocals, and the second with the addition of a rap courtesy of MC Hazadus. Both versions of the single are available for purchase digitally through the usual outlets.

The single has already received enthusiastic feedback from radio after being added to the September Kiwi Hit Disc, with the NZ On Air-funded video clip due to be serviced to music TV early October.

He Said She Said is a sign of things to come from BSM's third album - due for release next year. Stay tuned.
