MGMT recently SOLD OUT three dates at the Powerstation in Auckland where they are set to perform next week.
MGMT will now be playing a special licensed/ALL AGES, DJ Set, on Monday July 20th at the Bacco Room, with all proceeds going to Chris Knox in aid of his recovery.
MGMT will be spinning some of their favorite songs to raise money and show their respect for Chris.
"Knox is widely considered to be one of New Zealand's greatest musicians. He and former musical collaborator Alec Bathgate were to have reformed The Tall Dwarfs to support international act MGMT next month" NZ Herald
MGMT is Andrew Vanwyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, the two psychic pilgrims whose visit here has been much anticipated in the last 12 months.
