The Blue Lake Music Festival (was Blue Lake Dub Experience) is back again. This time on Saturday November 29, 2008, at the same beautiful venue, the Blue Lake Domain in Rotorua. Who wouldn't want to watch some hot live gigs in the summer sun amongst the gorgeous redwoods and with Lake Tikitapu for a backdrop?
Special guest MCs DLT and DT are going to open up the stage with headliners Che Fu, Rhombus, dDub, The Midnights, 1814 and Little Bushman, it's going to be a spectacular mixture of dub, reggae and soul music. Gates open at 3pm and there's music until 11pm that night.
Camping is even available. Kids under 16 are free with a paying adult (ID may be required). So get your tickets through Ticketmaster, bring along the tamariki, chilly bin of kai and some sun protection - cuz it's going to be a scorcher. There's even an early bird special so get in there quick. Alcohol and food will be on sale onsite. Come on, get back to your roots.
