Pearl perform with dDub and Hollie Smith at the Whitianga Scallop Festival

26.08.08
Wellington-based Pearl will head to the Coromandel on Saturday 30 August for the Whitianga Scallop Festival - playing the main Waterways stage from noon till 1pm, followed by dDub and Hollie Smith.
Pearl will be performing with their full six-piece band - the same line-up that opened for Eric Clapton at the Mission Winery concert and Elton John at Wellington's Westpac Stadium.
They were last in the Coromandel in March for a date on their 'Life Is Beautiful Acoustic Tour'.
'Life Is Beautiful' very nearly topped New Zealand's easy listening radio charts, spending several weeks at #3 behind Bryan McFadden and The Eagles.
Pearl will also be playing Whakatane's Boiler Room on Friday night, with special guest Maisey Rika. Tickets are $20 from 1XX reception.
Pearl will be shooting the music video for their new single 'Take Me Back' next month ... at a funeral in Christchurch.
