Stunning songstress Anna Coddington is embarking on a nationwide 15 date tour to celebrate the release of her debut solo album The Lake.

Anna Coddington is no stranger to the New Zealand music scene. She has featured on albums by Bic Runga and Anika Moa and was the front woman for Handsome Geoffrey and Duchess.

Anna's beautifully crafted boutique pop songs with a sprinkling of attitude, charm and humour shine through on The Lake. Her first single "Hold You Here" has gained much airplay on radio and music television.

Armed with a phenomenal band Anna is ready to show us what we've all been waiting for. Sharing the stage with Anna will be some of New Zealand's star musicians - guitarist Ned Ngatae (Hollie Smith, Dimmer), drummer Riki Gooch (Trinity Roots, Eru Dangerspiel) and bassist Chip Matthews (Opensouls, Anika Moa).

And touring is something Anna thrives on. "I can't wait to get around the country and meet new people and see friends made on previous tours. It's cool to do a tour like this and see people coming out of their homes and their shells to see some live music" she says.


The Lake will be released nationwide on 3 June 2008.
