HDU Metamathics Tour

HDU Metamathics Tour

16.04.2008

Metamathics: (n) (short form of 'metamathematics')
The investigation of the properties of realities intrinsically unknowable by and from our own, but whose general principles can be hazarded at.
-- Iain M Banks, 'Excession'

Primal riffery, ambiheaviness, thousand mile apart hand claps, HDU are about to perform 4 shows during New Zealand music month.

The Metamathics tour is an appropriately widescreen affair, six scenes of Arizonian dimensions fed through the unmistakable HDU filter. Squeezed to dust guitars and rhythms beamed in from beyond, from the staggered struts to the slow dissolves, these shows are that long awaited meeting point where HDU reconvene and agree once more - space is the place.

With outstanding and rare live performances, HDU once again, will prove to be masters of their reality - even when they're not quite sure what that reality is.  With Metamathics it's a very real pleasure to hear them hazarding a guess.

HDU will play limited capacity shows on the following dates:

May 15 - Wellington -  SFBH
May 17 - Auckland - Kings Arms
May 29 - Dunedin - Backstage
May 30 - Christchurch - Als Bar

Tickets available from Real Groovy
