It's been over 2 years since Sommerset's now legendary "final" shows in Wellington and Auckland - but we all know goodbye ain't forever.
New Zealand's endless golden summer has drawn arguably Sommerset's finest line-up back together for the first time since those shows.
From the icy Nordic north with a beautiful new wife - original Sommerset bassist - Stefan Thompson and back from balmy Melbourne's dirt bike trails - OG drummer Jay Dougrey joining good friends and band mates; Ryan Thomas (Gat/Vocals) - who's being playing some amazing solo shows and in The Trauma Hounds, and everyone's favourite bronzed god (also a major player in both Cobra Khan and Trauma Hounds) Milon Williams(Gat/Vocals)
What better way to celebrate than getting the band back together & hooning round our fair country once again?
The tour van is no stranger to Sommerset, during their 10 year stint they traversed the globe on many a tale of rock and or roll. From drunken high jinks in London with Sepultura, A Czech Republic reunion with Jaz Coleman Of Killing Joke and a close encounter with the Wu Tang Clan in Milan. From garages in Hamilton to festivals in Europe, from Invercargill to New York. Sommerset's dedication to taking their homegrown mix of hardcore, punk and rock on the road, has to this day been virtually unsurpassed.
