Supergroove December & January Tour Dates
After the sell-out success of 2 shows at the Kings Arms last October and rave reviews from their tour with Crowded House, Supergroove are warmed up to hit the beaches! The iconic 90's band will play a massive 9 dates this summer in some of New Zealand's favourite hotspots.
The recent reformation of Supergroove is something the kiwi public has been awaiting a very long time. Don't miss the experience of a lifetime this summer!
Here's what the critics have been saying:
"Their first reunion show at Auckland's King's Arms proved they're still wired, still teenagers at heart and - most importantly - those songs are still brilliant…. When Supergroove broke up 10 years ago, no one left happy. But the smiles on the faces of the King's Arms crowd proved Supergroove are back - and they're better than ever."
"Still, it's a brave band that shares a stage with Supergroove.
Despite playing their first show together in 11 years on Friday, the seven-piece act are in the form of their lives. They won a standing ovation from the sit-down crowd with a hugely energetic set full of their classic tracks, including Sitting Inside My Head, Here Come the Supergroove and Can't Get Enough." Chris Schulz - stuff.co.nz
"the crowd in general loved them…..Supergroove, just as they used to, went off with a big bang playing songs such as Can't Get Enough, Scorpio Girls and You Gotta Know." Matt Davey – Christchurch Press
"That is also true of the reconstituted Supergroove, reminding that they aren't just a mid-90s teen pop phenomenon who kicked off a new era of confidence in New Zealand music but a talented bunch whose later songs still stand up more than a decade later." Russell Baillie – NZ Herald
