The Willing are ready to be taken…..

After the recent sell out tour supporting Blindspott on their farewell tour, Take the Willing are carving themselves into the hard core, hard hitting, metal scene in New Zealand.

Their heavy trademark sound has been welcomed by audiences up and down the country with three nationwide tours under their heavy weight belt – with fellow krew mates Blindspott, The Bleeders and Full Nelson. And more recently supporting New Yorkers, Hatebreed and Australian punk acts Parkway Drive and The Valley at Killerfest 2007.

July 2007 saw the band sign with lead vocalist from The Bleeders Angeleo Jailbait new label – Deadboy Records/Universal Music.

Lead singer Nathan Sowter recently spent time in Sweden during April with internationally acclaimed producers, Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lovstrom, who worked on their debut album Fight Music. This producing dream-team have produced albums for artists such as Refused, Poison the Well, Cult of Luna and Blindspott - to metal fans they are basically metal royalty.

Fight Music was released in July 2007 and is now onto it's 2nd run – their first single 'Eyes Closed' was a fond favourite with metal shows up and down the country as well as late night appearances across Juice and C4.
