Auckland soul-funk outfit, one million dollars, are releasing their 3rd album, Stand Up to the Shakedown, at Auckland venue 4:20 this Friday night.
Following on the heals of their first two albums, Energy State and Soup Kitchen, Stand Up to the Shakedown delivers a sound that's closer to the band's famed live show. After taking a combined amount of 38 months to record the previous two albums the band's new release was recorded in a blistering single weekend at York St Studios, Parnell, in front of a live audience.
Support for the show will be provided by The Shades. Doors open at 10.00pm and entry will set you back $15.
