New Jay Clarkson album
Look out for an album by Jay Clarkson with Johannes Contag (Cloudboy) out on Arch Hill on November 5th. The album was recorded in the Austrian Alps and Dunedin and titled Over the Mountain. Jay will also be playing some very rare shows around the country in November....we'll give you some more info on all this shortly....
Surf City in the Money
Surf City have already purchased a nice brown van with part of the $17,000 they won as part of the Burger Fuel Artist and Recordings (B.A.R.F) fund, which they bagged a few weeks back. The BARF fund was collected with 10c from every burger bought at Burger Fuel during NZ Music Month and the winner was decided by votes cast at Burger Fuel outlets. The Surf City EP has been getting great reviews and the band have been out touring in the 'Brown Van' to enthused crowds up and down the country...
The Haints of Dean Hall tour with Jose Gonzales in 2008
Having already played a pretty magical show with Jose at the sold out Hopetoun Alpha a couple of months ago, The Haints of Dean Hall will be playing some shows with him in January next year.
