The Mint Chicks Auckland concert at Studio this October

The Mint Chicks will once again grace Auckland audiences this October when they play at the Studio on K Road. Joining them onstage are Auckland bands the DHDFDs and White Birds and Lemons.
Since the release of their full-length album Crazy Yes? Dumb No! which was voted #1 Album Of the Year by Real Groove Magazine, The NZ Herald and Stuff.co.nz, The Mint Chicks have risen to alternative punk stardom whilst also tackling the mainstream music scene and leaving a big impression.
This year sees Ruban Nielson nominated for the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll award for the songwriting of 'Crazy Yes? Dumb No' (the title track from the album). Awards are held on the 18th September and The Mint Chicks, in many people's eyes, are the main contender!
With a capacity as 'comfortable' as the Studio on K Road this gig is sure to sell out fast. What makes that even more likely are support bands The DHDFDs and White Birds And Lemons both of whom are buzz bands and soaring talents amongst the national indie scene.
