The Midnights is a live group that plays all-original New Zealand soul roots reggae.
Having formed in March 2002, The Midnights pride themselves on their original material and approach. While the music includes a wide and varied range of reggae styles, spanning the music's precursor, Ska, to the later styles such as Rock Steady and the slower Roots Reggae, The Midnights' sound also draws from a diverse range of other musical styles such as Blues, Soul and New Zealand's own musical history to help their music grow into something truly one-of-a-kind.
