This winter kiwi singer/songwriter Edwin Derricutt will be performing at Riverhead's stylish brew-bar & restaurant, Hallertau with his talented backing band and special guests.
The evening promises to be a fantastic showcase of the hits from Edwin's debut solo album, Symmetry, along with a sneak preview of things to come.
Symmetry has yielded 3 hit radio singles (Write your name, Friction, and Symmetry) on Independent and Access radio networks nationwide - with a 4th just released to positive reviews. Edwin's first music video, the album's title track 'Symmetry' is airing on Juice TV and J2 television channels, helping to move the catchy light-hearted song up both the NZ Radio and Adult Contemporary music charts.
With varied arrangements of both full band and intimate solo performances Edwin demonstrates songwriting at its best, combining the odd bit of story telling, thoughtful & challenging lyrics, toe tapping rhythms and infectious melodies.
Hallertau is the perfect setting for a mid-winter showcase, with the roaring fire, comfortable, warm surroundings, highly regarded micro-brewed beers and soothing mulled wine made on the premises this night out will be one long remembered.
