Wellington 8-piece band, The Black Seeds, are pleased to announce they have signed a 2-album European record deal with top German label Sonar Kollektiv. Sonar Kollektiv will release The Black Seeds' latest album Into the Dojo throughout Europe & Japan from July 30th 2007.
Renowned for working with acts such as Jazzanova, Sonar Kollektiv is one of Germany's strongest and best-known independent labels, and is connected to a top worldwide distribution network.
Having signed a separate deal with Rough Trade Netherlands earlier this year, Into The Dojo will also be released in Holland/Belgium on July 7, 2007
After successful tours in 2005/2006, The Black Seeds return to Europe in July/August for an 18+ show album release tour, including shows in the U.K, Holland, and Germany.
