The Dukes through to the MTV Kickstart Final in Oz.

Christchurch band Dukes took out the New Zealand final of the MTV Kickstart competition on Friday night beating off other finalists; Happy Palace, The Midnight Youth, Nytmare and Band, and The Hot Grits.
Up for grabs is $22k cash + a chance to be part of the 2007 MTV Australia Video Music Awards + a professionally shot and edited video clip + thousands of dollars worth of media exposure.
MTV recieved hundreds of entries from local bands, rocking it out for this opportunity to stage dive into the music industry.
