Our Hayley goes Top 10 in Blighty

Hayley Westenra's new album, Treasure, has debuted at number 9 in the UK album chart, sparking much rejoicing and singing of God Defend New Zealand at the Amplifier.co.nz offices. Other acts to appear in this weeks prime chart positions include the Kaiser Chiefs (#1), Take That (#2), Snow Patrol (#5) and Lily Allen (#10). In a strange time warp that appears to have transported England back to the time of The Sweeney, The Professionals and It Ain't Half Hot Mum, 70's acts ELO and Dr Hook also had albums debut in the top 20.
