Concord Dawn's Uprising goes Platinum

The third album from Concord Dawn, 2003's Uprising has acheived Platinum sales in New Zealand.
This is the first Platinum success for a Drum n Bass artist in New Zealand, and with 2006's Chaos By Design not far behind in units sold, it's an acheivement the duo hope to repeat. Says Concord Dawn's Evan Short of the success, "Platinum's twice as good as gold, isn't it?"
Other half Matt Harvey, who issued this official line - "Boh!", will still be stationed in Vienna for much of 2007 playing music and "being rad", while work continues on album no. 5. The pair also have plans for performances with a live band, as glimpsed at last years New Zealand Music Awards.
