Twinset on Mini-Tour
Wellington's own soul-jazz trio Twinset have just returned from the New Zealand release tour for their latest album Flavour Country with a whole bunch of new supporters. In fact the response was so good that they've decided to keep spreading their swinging sounds around the country and hit the road again in September, playing in Auckland, Wellington and a first for the band, a trip up to Leigh to play at the Sawmill cafe.
Drummer Paul K Hoskin says a particular highlight of their July tour were the enthusiastic crowds an experience the soul-jazz band are looking forward to enjoying again in September. "Everyone across the country was so receptive. It's a nice feeling to know people have braved the ice and snow to come out and hear us play."
