P-Bass Expressway South Island Tour
Christchurch funksters P-Bass Expressway are bringing the funk to the South Island this Feb.
P-Bass are an 8 piece live funk outfit inspired by classic funk acts of the 70s and early 80's. This time round the band will feature guest vocals from KP of the Sunshine Soundsystem and Jennine Bailey. Support will be from Magnetic Funk and Dj's Soul Providah and Mr White.
2005 saw the release of the P-Bass Expressway vinyl 12", with three new tracks and a remix from Downtown Brown. Tracks from this release spent 14 weeks in the NZ Alternative Top 10. The remix of Easyride was also released on Loop Select 7 in October 2005.
