Boxcar Guitars Call it a Day
Auckland alt-country band, The Boxcar Guitars, who recently released the critically acclaimed Lamplight EP have called it quits. The statement from the band reads:
Unfortunately Ben Maitland, Guitarist/ Vocalist/Songwriter for THE BOXCAR GUITARS (and Bic Runga, Tim Guy) will be leaving New Zealand a little earlier than anticipated, he flies out December 5th.
This means the end of The Boxcar Guitars in New Zealand (if not forever, at least for an extended period of time)
