Hayley Westenra to Tour
Pacific Entertainment and Universal Music have today announced a special late January tour featuring Hayley Westenra. This will be Hayley's first tour in two years. The seven live concerts across will also feature Hayley's UK Musical Director, Ian Tilley, the accomplished Christchurch violinist Fiona Pears, and guitarist Simon Lusby.
This will be Hayley's first tour in two years where she will perform tracks from her latest multi-platinum album 'Odyssey' and from 'Pure' which has sold over 2 million copies to date. A Christchurch local, Hayley has duetted with Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras and Bryn Terfel and sung live at many prestigious sporting events including the recent All Blacks tour of the .
Immediately after her short NZ tour, Hayley will travel to the where she is to join Il Divo on their world tour – a long series of engagements that will take up much of the next year.
