Split Enz Inducted into Aussie ARIA Hall of Fame

Despite being a kiwi band Split Enz has been inducted into the Australian ARIA Hall of Fame.  At a ceremony held in Melbourne's Regent Theatre the band reformed for the first time in 12 years to perform Poor Boy and History Never Repeats.  The line up consisted of Neil and Tim Finn, Eddie Rayner, Neil Crombie, Nigel Griggs and Malcolm Green.  Keeping the kiwi theme the band were presented on stage by John Clarke a.k.a. Fred Dagg.

Also reforming and performing for the ceremony were 80's intellectual pub rockers Hunters and Collectors who played their hits Say Goodbye and Throw Your Arms Around Me.  The other inductees into the ARIA Hall of Fame on the night were The Easybeats, Renee Geyer, Normie Rowe and Smokey Dawson.
