Kiwi Oscar Nominee Available to Buy
Taika Waititi's Academy Award nominated short film, Two Cars, One Night is available to own as part of the Loop Select 005 package.
The film which gained its nod from the Academy in the just announced Oscar Nominations tells the story of three small children left in two cars outside a rural New Zealand pub while their fathers are inside drinking. It was also nominated for Best Short Film at the 2004 Berlin Film Awards and selected for the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
Originally released to coincide with the Wellington premiere of Lord of the Rings, Reurn of the King, Loop Select 005 (Good Shit Happens) comes packaged with a CD containing tracks from some of New Zealand's best bands and artists such as Ladi 6, one million dollars, 50Hz, Farmer Pimp and a DVD including several short films and music videos.
