Pounamu is Ahorangi's (Ngāti Tūwharetoa) debut single release - a collaboration with award-winning Aotearoa rapper Sidney Diamond (aka Young Sid).
The essence of this song is about embracing your uniqueness and is told through the story of the Pounamu. Pounamu is a precious stone that comes in different shapes and colours that represent who you are. Like Pounamu, we are all unique.
