Nick Raven is a solo songwriter from Auckland. He writes songs that cover topics as far reaching as philosophy, society, inter-personal relationships and the struggle of life and cites such classic influences as Neil Young, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin. Composing songs that are melodically rich and bursting with masses of delay and reverb, Raven manages to unite the space between folk personality and psychedelic out-of-person, which apparently creates quite a trip of a live show. He seeks to voice the opinion of young people in an age that he claims disregards them and their feelings...
